WORK EXPERIENCE:
Current:
· Doing HBT currently in the interim, seeking a position.
Medical-input provider at US for a software firm at US (2004-2005):
· Part of a team involved in a project development for Clinical Information System at Detroit, MI, to provide the required from a doctor’s/medical perspective to enable the team understand a real-time doctor’s requirement in the software development.
General Manager/ Chief QA, New Planet Solutions, Bangalore (2001-2004):
· Performed in the capacity of GM/Chief QA for a live production MT unit at Bangalore, with 100 MTs and 20 QAs, currently producing 25,000 to 30,000 lines per day.
· Integral part of the launch team since the company’s inception in April 2001.
· Actively involved in training 150 fresh young graduates, for over a period of 6 months as per the curriculum laid down by Health Professions Institute, Modesto, California, along with an American CMT, whom we specifically flew in for training.
· Involved in commercial production since November 2001. Reached current level of production in March 2003, including STAT, working around the clock, maintaining required industry standards of 98.5% + accuracy and the stipulated TAT.
Head QA, Kalvi Software Tech, Bangalore (2000-2001):
· Headed a team of 45 people in Kalvi Software Tech, Bangalore, producing 10000 lines per day, employing about 30 MT’s, 10 Proofers, and a highly qualified QA team.
· The team consistently delivered the above with the internationally required accuracy (98.5%), maintaining the desired TAT.
Trainer/QA, Sinai Transcription, Bangalore (1999-2000):
· Worked in a team of 40 in the potential of Member and subsequently Team Leader for a period of 1 year at Sinai Transcription Services, a live production unit handling around 10000 lines per day.
· Also completed successful training for MTs in 3 batches at Sinai. Also set up a unit at Jaipur on a Turn-key basis along with supervising the training (Training Period -4 Months).
Walk-in clinic practice at Detroit, MI, USA (1997-1999):
· During the stay at US, exposed to MT, besides the medical job for over 2 yrs.
Senior Medical Practitioner, Al-Ghail Clinic, Muscat (1991-1993):
· Senior Practitioner in a large Private Clinic in Oman with an attendance of over 100 patients a day.
· Individually responsible for managing all Emergencies for over a period of 2 years.
General Practitioner (1977 - and continuing):
· Managing two sizeable private clinics in Bangalore, India, practicing general medicine and family practice along with wife, who is also a qualified medical graduate..
· Served as Zonal Doctor for many giant public sector undertakings, such as BEL, HMT, HAL, ITI, Indian Airlines, Coffee Board and many private sector companies such as United Breweries and Mysore Breweries.

Permanent Member, Indian Association of Occupational Health (IAOH).
